SA Partnership’s design is intentionally subtle – choosing to leave only a light touch allows each project to take shape according to its unique context. This is achieved through the use of local materials, the blending of an addition to harmonize with an existing campus, or even the use of design and material to match those of a specific time period in history. Each project takes on its own identity – whether it’s the abandoned incinerator building turned coffee shop on the St. Mary’s campus, the construction of hill country office buildings incorporating
Sisterdale Limestone, or the addition of an inner-city athletic complex to match the existing church campus.
Of course, the context of some projects commands the use of wildly creative architecture, at which time SA Partnership consistently creates unique and innovative designs. Stand out projects have been recognized by AIA San Antonio, The San Antonio Conservation Society, and featured in numerous publications locally and nationally.
